Rebranding & Membership Update FAQs

Why is the name changing?

Our members are senior HR leaders — that hasn’t changed. But “executive” isn’t a title every senior HR professional claims, and “forum” understates what this community actually is. HR Leadership Collective is built on peer relationships, substantive connections, and rich content — not just educational programming. The new name reflects all of that, and removes a label that was quietly keeping some of the right people from seeing themselves as belonging here.

Will my membership price go up?

For in-house HR practitioners and non-profit HR practitioners, no, your rates are unchanged. Advisor pricing has been updated to $500/year to reflect the distinct value of that membership category. Corporate memberships for in-house HR practitioners are also unchanged.

When do pricing changes take effect?

All pricing changes are effective July 1, 2026, but will not take effect until your individual membership renewal date. No one will see a mid-term increase.

I have a corporate membership — what happens to it?

If you are an in-house HR practitioner, your corporate membership is unaffected. If you are in an advisor capacity (consultant, vendor, or other non-practitioner), your current corporate membership remains fully active through its expiration date. At that point, corporate renewals will not be available for advisor-category members. We’ll reach out personally before your expiration to talk through your options, including sponsorship.

I’m a vendor/consultant — is there a better option for me than the Advisor membership?

Sponsorship may be a better fit, particularly if you want to attend multiple events with colleagues, gain brand visibility, or build relationships with HR practitioners as a recognized partner. We offer four sponsorship tiers ranging from $1,000 per event to $6,000 annually. Please contact us to discuss.

How do I know what category I fall into?

In-house HR practitioners are HR professionals employed directly by an organization (not as a consultant or vendor). Non-profit HR practitioners are in-house practitioners at a 501(c)(3) organization. Advisors are anyone who provides HR services, products, or consulting externally to organizations.
