Anne Sample is a proven business and HR leader with a career spanning over 30 years in consumer goods, financial services and manufacturing/distribution.
In her early career Anne worked in a variety of HR roles for Whirlpool, Pepsi and Citibank. She has been the Chief HR Officer for three Minnesota based companies: PepsiAmericas, Thrivent Financial and Caribou Coffee and Bagels. She recently acquired Navigate Forward, the premier provider of Executive Transition Services in the Twin Cities.
Anne resides in Orono, MN with her husband Mike. They have two adult sons. She is active in several local charities including the Light of Hope Home and School for Girls in Kenya and ACES. She also serves on Board of Directors of MyMeds, a MN based startup that is focused on medication adherence.
Chris Dardis - Versique
Chris leads the HR consulting and HR executive search division of Versique. Chris has been involved within the local HR community since 2001. Using his passions around service and team building, Chris has led talent acquisition divisions for Robert Half, Target and Schwan’s Foods.
Having both corporate leadership and agency recruiting experience, Chris has the unique ability to understand his clients’ human capital needs and offer strategic consultative solutions. Chris often serves as a subject matter expert for WCCO and KARE11 TV for topics involving HR and employment.
Chris is a proud graduate of Saint John’s University and lives in Chaska, MN with his wife Kim and their 3 children. He is active in the community as a youth coach and a board member on athletic associations.

Sarah Waite is the Sr. HR Director at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota. She is passionate about building integrated, practical talent strategies that increase employee engagement and accelerate business results. Sarah has over 25 years of HR experience in a number of different HR functions and industries including G&K Services, Medtronic, and Target. She speaks regularly in HR forums including TCSHRM, Disrupt HR, and ERE. Sarah also co-teaches an undergraduate HR course at St. Thomas. She also authors the blog “The Business of Talent.”
