You've been hearing about agile methodologies and organizational agility for years now. Heck, you know this is something your tech group is big on, and you've experimented with some practices in HR as well. However, as the c-team focuses on culture, being more responsive to market, and employee acquisition and retention, it's hard to fathom how agile really takes us where we need to go.
In this talk, Anne Steiner, Vice President of Product and Technology at Cprime, demystifies the value of agile. We'll let all that boring process stuff go and focus on the following:
- What is agile beyond IT? Why should we care? What will it bring across the enterprise?
- Transitioning our thinking from projects to thinking in products
- The cultural implications of this way of working
In the end, you'll have a better understanding of how to help your organization have more agility and how to enable that from your seat atop the HR organization.
