Anne Sample is an experienced business and HR leader, and the CEO/owner of Navigate Forward. She has a track record of leading business-building transformation and developing top talent. Anne has engaged her passion for helping leaders find new destinations during times of transition. Navigate Forward’s Board Readiness service helps senior leaders to understand the Board landscape, evaluate and improve their readiness and then market themselves.
In her early career Anne worked in a variety of HR and strategy roles for Whirlpool, PepsiCo, Walker Digital, and Citibank. She has served as the Head of HR for PepsiAmericas, Thrivent Financial, and Caribou Coffee and Bagels.
Anne is a natural connector who is recognized for her ability to reframe problems, identify new solutions, manage through change, and share her candid perspective. An engaging speaker, Anne is often asked to present at conferences and professional events. She currently serves on Board of Directors of MyMeds, a MN-based startup that provides individuals with the digital health tools and real time data.
Megan Grimm
Director of Talent Acquisition
Target
Megan Grimm is a Director of Talent Acquisition at Target. In her current role, she is Chief of Staff to the Head of Talent Acquisition and leads strategy development and delivery, integration with cross enterprise partners, and acts as a change agent to support the team and business in a highly dynamic talent environment. Her focuses enable delivery of core talent priorities to fuel business and growth through people strategies while evolving and positioning Target’s Talent Acquisition function for the future.
Megan has been with Target for over 15 years in various Human Resources leadership roles in Talent Acquisition and as an HR generalist. She is passionate about creating new and innovative ways for talent to interact with Target and finding ways to provide meaningful development and career experiences with an emphasis on early career talent and commitment to DEI. Through partnership with many teams and businesses she has worked to co-create and curate several new programs lowering barriers into technology roles through upskilling, launching development and rotational programs, and creating deep internal and external partnerships to invest in the future workforce.
Megan holds a bachelor degrees in Human Resources + Management and Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Outside of Target, Megan spends time with her husband and two girls and watching a lot of Big 10 sports in a household with a strong Wisconsin Badger and Iowa Hawkeye rivalry.
Susan Soldin
Vice President, Global Talent Management

Susan joined Medtronic in July 2018 and serves as our Vice President of Global Talent Management. In this role she focuses on building Medtronic’s talent pipeline, fostering a culture of performance and accountability, and enabling a strategic view of skills and capabilities needed to fulfill Medtronic’s Mission and become the undisputed leader in healthcare technology.
Susan brings twenty years of experience to her current role, gained from a multitude of human resources leadership positions. Prior to joining Medtronic, Susan served as the Vice President, Human Resources of Crate and Barrel in Chicago. In this role, she was the head of Human Resources and responsible for designing, developing and deploying the company’s HR strategy. In her tenure, she deployed a new framework for performance management, overhauled the HR operating model and led multiple talent and culture initiatives for the company. Susan also spent fourteen years at Target Corporation where she held a variety of senior HR leadership roles, including HR Business Partner, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and Strategy and Operations.
In 2021, Susan received two of Medtronic’s most prestigious leadership awards. The Chairman’s Award recipients are selected by our Chairman and CEO and awarded to the highest echelon of contributors dedicated to efforts in inclusion and equity, accountability and engagement, and culture transformation. Susan was awarded this honor in the inaugural class of awardees. The Wallin Leadership Award acknowledges impactful leadership, commitment and dedication to our company’s Mission, championing talent development and achieving extraordinary business results, also received in 2021.
Susan holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin. She resides in Edina, Minnesota with her husband, Josh, and three active boys.
